Recently moved to the Ft. Worth area, Stephen Krahn is the new Organist/Music Associate at Peace Lutheran Church in Hurst, Texas. Dr. Krahn holds degrees in piano performance, organ performance, and church music from the Eastman School of Music, Southern Methodist University, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Featured on several recordings, Stephen has been a finalist in the AGO and Ft. Wayne national organ-playing competitions, and has performed under the baton of such conductors as John Rutter and Robert Shaw. Stephen has performed with the Nebraska Chamber Orchestra, Abendmusik: Lincoln, and the Dallas Chamber Orchestra, as well as having been an accompanist and coach at the Booker T. Washington High School for the Visual and Performing Arts. Dr. Krahn has taught piano and organ to all levels from beginners to college music majors.
